Mechanics
1. Open to all school bands of 3 to 5 members.
2. Each group should represent a school. Should a group be composed of students from different campuses, the school in the majority of the band members will be the one they will embody.
3. Group members should be at the most 24 years old.
4. Each group should bring their own instruments.
5. Interested participants should fill out the registration forms to get a schedule for the eliminations.
6. Students under 18 years of age should fill out a Parents Consent form along with the parent’s signature.
7. Grand finals will be on October 31, 2007.
Elimination Rounds
1. Each group will be singing 2 slow songs, 3 fast songs and one contest piece. The contest piece will be a common song for all bands. The group may decide whether the songs they will be singing are either cover or original songs. Each band will be judged based on their own rendition of the song. We will advise you through the given contact number regarding the contest piece they will be singing.
3. No lewd songs are allowed in the repertoire, any group singing songs with foul language will be disqualified.
Grand Finals
1. There will be 6 winning groups competing for the grand finals.
2. Each group will present 2 slow songs, 3 fast songs and the championship piece.
3. No lewd songs are allowed in the repertoire, any group singing songs with foul language will be disqualified.
4. The following are the Grand Final prizes:
Grand Winner: P10, 000 2nd place: P5, 000 3rd place: P3,000
